the 9-5 gig

Sometimes when I work all hours of the night or work all hours of the weekend I wonder why I am not working a regular 9-5 office job. And then I thought about it. I do. I sit in an office during the week editing. Maybe it is not the typical 9-5 but it is my own 9-5.  The other night I was in my office from 7:30 pm to 1 a.m the night before that I was in my office from 5 pm to 2:30 am. And then a few nights before that I was shooting a wedding from 2:30p.m-3:30 am. And if you asked me if I would change it. I’d probably say No. Unless you offered free baby sitting services so I could work a little more during the day instead of the night. ha  But I wouldn’t give up for the world the time I spend with my son Wylan during the days. Because before I know it he will be off to school.
